Update from your Mayor, Cllr Ash Davies

Here’s a quick video update from the Mayor Cllr Ash Davies following this evening’s Town Council meeting. Lots going on at the moment.

Tonight:

We welcomed two new members to Rothwell Town Council.

We agreed to formally oppose the proposed changes to the 7.5 tonne weight limit through Rothwell and Desborough.

Good progress is being made with the exciting plans for future leisure provision in town, alongside the Neighbourhood Plan.

The new Events Committee meets soon to start planning new event ideas for Rothwell.
