Statement of Persons Nominated
North Northamptonshire Council has published a Statement of Persons Nominated, listing all individuals who will be standing for the North Northamptonshire Council and the Parish or Town Council seats on Thursday 1st May 2025.
Voters will go to the polls to elect North Northamptonshire Council’s councillors in the unitary authority’s second election since its creation in 2021. Here is a complete list of those nominated – Rothwell & Mawsley Statement Of Persons Nominated (1)
Town and Parish Councils will take place on the same day. Rothwell Town Council is split into two wards, Trinity and Tresham, each having six seats on. Following the issue of the Statement of Persons Nominated, ONE election will be held for those living within the Trinity Ward of the town. A complete list of those nominated can be found below:

Local Elections will take place in North Northamptonshire on Thursday 1st May 2025
Rothwell Town Council is split into two wards, Trinity and Tresham with each ward having a vacancy for 6 councillors each.

Publication of notice of election | Not later than Tuesday 25 March |
Delivery of nomination papers | From the date stated on the notice of election up to 4pm on Wednesday 2 April |
Deadline for withdrawals of nomination | 4pm on Wednesday 2 April |
Publication of statement of persons nominated | Not later than 4pm on Thursday 3 April |
Deadline for receiving applications for voting registration | Friday 11 April |
Deadline for receiving new postal vote and postal proxy applications, and for changes to existing postal or proxy votes | 5pm on Monday 14 April |
Publication of notice of poll | Not later than Wednesday 23 April |
