Extended opening hours at 3 County's Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC's)
Three of the county's household waste recycling centres (HWRCs) will temporarily open for an additional day - on Mondays - to help cater for the current increased usage seen during the pandemic.
The measure will be introduced at the sites in Kettering, Rushden and Sixfields from Monday, March 29 and will last for a period of three months.

Update on the TTRO(20/21) N522 - Desborough Road, Rothwell
Update to our News posting of 1st March:
It has been agreed that works will now take place over 3 full weekends and 5 week night time closures with 24 hour lights in place the rest of the time. The works will commence on the 9th of April with the weeknight closures starting the 19th April.

TTRO(20/21) N550 - Stanley Street, Rothwell - Road closure 19th April
Notification has been received from Northamptonshire Highways regarding the following:
Sunbelt Rentals have requested a road closure on the above road to allow BT to safely carry out overhead works. The road is due to be closed for one day at off peak times on the 19th April 2021.

Sadly there will always be people who will use something like the forthcoming Census 2021 event as an opportunity to scam others, in particularly targeting the most vulnerable members of our communities.
