We'll be upgrading the current lighting to LED's on the A14 between junctions 7 and 9.

The new LED lighting will be more energy efficient and require less maintenance in the future.

We'll work overnight, between 8pm and 5am, from 5 April 2023 for approximately 4 weeks, Monday to Friday.

During our programme of work, we'll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.

Traffic management

To maintain safety and reduce disruption, most of our work will be delivered under lane closures which will reduce the A14 to single lane running. These will move along the road as our work progresses.

There will be some slip road closures and the diversion will be to continue along the A14 to the following junction and return along the opposite side of the A14.
